Find your local Prontaprint

Opportunities

Opening a new Prontaprint centre is always a major challenge, but it’s much easier when you consider the training, technical support and financial backing we provide. There are 4 entry routes:

Buy an existing Prontaprint business that is up for resale

You could buy an existing centre from a Franchisee who is looking to move on or retire.

Buy an independent business we have located that wishes to sell

At any given time, there are independent print and design businesses in particular areas who are open to the possibility of selling. We’ll support you in finding the right business for sale, negotiating the best deal and giving you access to the best support – we will then rebrand the business so you can become part of one of the most successful Franchises in the UK and Ireland.

Open a greenfield site

Start a brand new business. This gives you the maximum freedom to choose your ideal location and recruit your own staff. You’ll also have an immediate headstart, as you’ll draw on the latest technology and best supplier deals, along with one of the most recognised and trusted brand names in the business. There are possibilities all over the UK and Ireland.

Management buy-in

Finally, you could join an existing Prontaprint centre as a senior sales employee, with a view to acquiring the business later on through a management buy-in. It would mean working for an existing Franchisee and agreeing a transfer of ownership over time.

Case study – Prontaprint York

Peter McFarlane is the driving force behind one of our new generation of Prontaprint centres. As a former regional sales manager with pharmaceutical company Pfizer, he knew there was a lot of potential in the local area.

Peter McFarlane, Prontaprint York

“There’s always been a strong market for business printing services among York’s many medium-sized companies. The growth of professional services companies and science and technology specialists means there’s now a growing demand for well-designed marketing and promotional literature.”

We made sure Peter could draw on the very latest digital technology to equip the new centre. The combination of our support and his sales expertise has proved to be a winning formula – one of many successful new centre openings in recent years.

Franchising offers the excitement and rewards of running your own business, while keeping the risks to a minimum. It remains a tough challenge, requiring a huge amount of personal commitment and hard work. But you’ll also have an immediate headstart, because you’ll be following a business model that has been proven time and again.

Plus, you’ll have access to an unrivalled network of advice, training and support, covering all aspects of centre management and operations.
